Why choose the DSC Krunch 22 Kashmir Willow Cricket Bat

Choosing your first or next leather ball bat is about finding a profile that suits your evolving technique. The DSC Krunch 22 utilizes hard-pressed Kashmir willow, which provides the necessary firmness to strike a leather ball with consistency. Because the wood is hard-pressed, you get a solid feel upon impact that helps in transitioning from softer training balls to the real match-day experience. While these bats require a thorough knocking-in process before use, this preparation allows you to compress the fibers to your specific hitting style, ensuring better performance in the long run.

The profile of this bat features a medium spine and a medium sweet spot, which makes it a versatile choice for both defensive play and aggressive shots. When you face varied deliveries, the pronounced edges provide confidence, offering a larger hitting zone that rewards good technique. The handle, crafted from high-quality Singapore cane with a traditional round shape, acts as the bridge between your hands and the blade. With a 3-way rubber insertion, it helps manage the vibrations that travel through the handle when you connect with the ball, making your practice sessions more comfortable.
